Dude, at Big & Tall Records, we saw that the music industry had a mondo problem. With our president Daniel Different's 20 years of music industry experience, he had a story to tell and, even more importantly, a way to fix it.

Most record labels offer distribution, but they tie you up in long, confusing contracts designed to steal money from you, the artist. And those royalty-free services that sell your music at a 50/50 split? They treat you like a commodity, only pushing what sells without allowing you the decency of any artistic portrayal. Not to mention they hide sneaky clauses in their contracts that let them embezzle royalties from you.

At Big & Tall Records, we think that 50/50 split is totally too high. With Big and Tall Worldwide Distribution we’re able to offer artists a significantly higher percentage. We only take 1% of your sync earnings 😮 We found that our operational costs were easily covered. We also provide an open-license and open-contract situation, focusing on inspiring and enabling artists, not tricking them into contracts.

We've also got open-records, which means we open our books to artists 100%. You can see play counts, which videos your songs are on, and how much your monetized video clicks are worth (CPM). We offer our clients a simple flat rate to access our library for any videos they want to use your songs for. And if they wanna use it for an ad, they email you directly, so you can negotiate your own fee. Or, if you prefer, we can handle it for a small percentage.
